What Commora is
Commora is an educational communication-practice platform for internationally trained physicians, visiting physicians, and medical trainees. Learners speak with fictional AI patients, review a transcript, and receive structured feedback about communication behaviours.
Information collected
Simulation transcripts
Completed learner and simulated-patient transcript messages are used to provide feedback and are saved with completed sessions.
Generated feedback
Communication scores, evidence, strengths, improvement areas, recommendations, and summaries are saved with the related session.
Session history
Commora stores the scenario, session duration, completion time, transcript, and feedback needed to show your previous sessions.
Basic usage information
The services operating Commora may process limited technical information needed to deliver, secure, and troubleshoot the platform.
Information not collected
Commora is not designed to collect or store:
- Raw audio recordings or microphone recordings
- Real patient medical records
Microphone audio is transmitted during a live simulation so the AI patient can respond, but Commora does not record or store that raw audio. Learners must not enter identifiable patient information.
How information is used
Commora uses information to:
- Provide interactive communication-training simulations
- Generate and display communication feedback
- Save completed sessions for the learner’s later review
- Maintain, protect, troubleshoot, and improve the platform
Data deletion
Learners can delete individual saved sessions from the Previous Sessions page. Deleting a session removes its saved transcript, generated feedback, score, duration, and scenario record from Commora.
AI disclosure
Commora uses artificial intelligence to conduct fictional patient conversations, transcribe completed speech, and generate structured communication feedback. AI-generated content may contain errors and should be reviewed as educational material.
